D.L. Evans Bank is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to manage all paid-off loans, amend UCC continuations, and ensure accurate collateral releases. You will provide clerical support for lending activities and deliver professional service to lending personnel.

The role requires attention to detail, organization, and strong computer and typing skills to handle loan documentation and related tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience helpful, particularly in a financial environment.
• Familiarity with general loan documentation helpful.
• Accurate and attentive to detail; well organized.

Responsibilities

• Handle all paid-off loans; verify collateral not cross-collateralized; release titles, UCC filings, and Deeds of Trust when applicable.
• Amend UCC filings for continuations; verify filings need updates; track filings in Premier system.
• Review denials for completeness and ensure processing per bank policies.
• Obtain and convey information as needed.
• Coordinate functions with related departments and branches; provide support as needed.
• Keep management informed of activities and concerns; resolve customer requests promptly.
• Promote D.L. Evans Bank at all times; represent the bank in the community.

He/she handles amending all UCC continuations, reviews denials for completeness, provides clerical support for all lending activities, and provides high quality and professional service to lending personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience helpful, particularly in a financial environment
• Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan services and procedures preferred
• Familiarity with general loan documentation helpful
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Well organized
• Good typing skills
• Willing and able to help others
• Able to use a computer, adding machine, copy machine, and basic business equipment
• Able to get along well with coworkers

Responsibilities

• Handle all loans that are paid off; researches loans to verifiy collateral is not cross-collateralized with other loans; requests approval from the lender to release collateral; and releases vehicle titles, UCC filings, and Deeds of Trust when applicable
• Amends UCC filings that have come up for continuation, verifies with lender that filings need to be updated, and tracks all filings to the Premier system
• Reviews denials for completeness and verifies that denials are processed following the Bank policies and procedures
• Obtains and conveys information as needed
• Coordinates functions with related departments and Branches and provides support as needed
• Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns
• Ensures that customers' requests and questions are promptly resolved
• Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation
• Promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
• Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
• Completes special projects as assigned
