Farmers State Bank is seeking a Loan Document Specialist to deliver high-quality service to internal customers. You will interpret policies, analyze loan applications, review documents, and ensure verification processes are completed.
The role includes imaging of credit information, maintaining appraisal data, preparing credit reports, and tracking collateral insurance while maintaining compliance and supporting processing teams.
The loan document specialist is responsible for delivering high level and quality customer service to our internal customers. The work involves duties that require the individual to interpret different policies and procedures, analyze the loan applications received, review the loan documents, and ensure that all the verification processes have been carried out.
Responsible for conducting and performing high level and large volume of time sensitive tasks and his/her work may include a lot of research work as well. He/she should be able to solve queries, ensuring compliance with the timeliness and quality standards.
Responsible for the accurate and timely imaging of ongoing credit information such as financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, etc., for the various loan accounts. Answers internal customer's inquiries for requests and assistance pertaining to credit imaging questions.
Reviews all notes and modification subsequent to closing to verify documentation is accurate, compliance regulations are being followed, and loan policy was followed. Work with processing team to ensure all items identified are corrected. Identify and track technical exceptions.
Maintain the appraisal databases including ordering appraisals and evaluations. Determining the need for useful life forms and validations of values. Ensuring compliance with appraisal regulation.
Prepares and reviews various reports in support of the credit department (technical exceptions, adequacy of loan loss reserve, substandard accounts, non-accrual, charge-off notices, etc.)
Manages various tracking documents and completes small projects as necessary.
Tracks and monitors insurance policies for collateral. Closely works with insurance agents and lending staff to obtain updated insurance documentation.
