Job summary

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) seeks a Loan Conversion Specialist to support loan origination software implementations, data conversions, and technical troubleshooting for the Hawthorn River platform.

The role focuses on mapping, validating, transforming, and loading loan data, using SQL, Python, and related tools. You will work behind the scenes with customers and internal teams to ensure data accuracy and successful conversions across multiple implementations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data conversion, technical implementation, systems integration, banking operations or related field.
• Hands-on SQL experience for data review, validation, reconciliation, or transformation.
• Experience with structured data files such as CSV, fixed-width, XML or JSON.
• Ability to read logs and troubleshoot configurations and data flow issues.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Support data conversions and technical activities for Hawthorn River loan origination software implementations.
• Review source data from core banking systems, loan origination platforms, and third-party vendors.
• Map source data fields to Hawthorn River’s conversion specifications.
• Use SQL to review, reconcile, validate, and transform loan data.
• Analyze CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON and other data files for formatting issues and discrepancies.
• Validate source fields align with target system requirements before loading data.
• Investigate rejected or missing data and document causes and resolutions.
• Review system and integration logs to identify configuration and data-flow issues.
• Troubleshoot file-based and API-driven integrations with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with data transformations and field translations, including loan account number changes.
• Use SQL, Python or other scripting to improve conversion efficiency and accuracy.
• Support testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, go-live activities and post-conversion issue resolution.
• Maintain thorough documentation of mappings, validation results, issues and resolutions.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop understanding of Hawthorn River platform and its data requirements.
• Collaborate with implementation, product, support and engineering teams to ensure successful conversions.
• Manage conversion tasks and priorities across multiple implementations.
