Lendmark Financial Services in Suffolk, VA, is seeking a Loan Consultant II to provide exceptional customer experience while offering personal loan solutions. You will build a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and merchant referrals, meeting monthly goals and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced office environment.

You will play a key role in helping customers secure financing with responsible lending practices and friendly service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 2–4+ years consumer finance or related experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and solicit individuals entering the office and calling by phone; receive and process credit and employment verifications.
• Process payments, distributions, and make recommendations regarding loan approvals.
• Approve loans up to established lending limits and complete loan closings.
• Handle account activities related to collection accounts, including calls and face-to-face communications.
• Prepare reports, correspondences, documentation; operate cash drawer and balance records.
• Actively market all branch products and services to individuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
