Lendmark Financial Services is seeking a Loan Consultant I to provide exceptional customer experience while offering personal loan solutions. The role emphasizes building a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and merchant referrals.

You will be measured by customer satisfaction, attainment of monthly goals, and accurate documentation, in an office-based environment with potential quarterly incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 0–2 years consumer finance or related experience.
• Cash handling; computer skills; customer service skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and solicit individuals entering the office or calling by phone; verify credit and employment, and record information.
• Process payments and distributions; make recommendations regarding loan approvals.
• Approve loans up to established lending limits; complete closings and manage related account activities.
• Prepare reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and recordkeeping; operate cash drawer and balances.
• Actively market all branch products and services to individuals; perform other duties as assigned by management.
