Job summary

Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust seeks a Collateral & Insurance Processor in Moorefield, WV. You will manage loan document workflows, verify deeds of trust, title policies, and related insurance coverings, and maintain the document tracking system.

You will coordinate with lending staff, insurance companies, and borrowers to ensure timely, accurate coverage and filings, while handling sensitive financial records in a compliant, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior loan document experience preferred.
• Prior experience with Property and Casualty Insurance preferred.
• Prior experience with titles (vehicle, boat, motorcycle, mobile home, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process documents received via email, USPS, workflow queue etc.
• Maintain the document tracking system on Silverlake by verifying the accuracy and recordation of Deeds of Trusts, Final Title Opinions, Final Title Insurance Policies, hazard/flood insurance, auto/equipment insurance, titles and UCCs etc.
• Completes Weekly insurance reporting reviews
• Contact Insurance Companies/Borrowers to inquire on required insurance policies
• Scan documents received into the electronic filing system Synergy
• Maintain UCC continuation tracking and obtain continuations as needed
• Release titles, deed of trust, UCCs and other documents required per loan payoff
• Force-place insurance (hazard and flood) on an as-needed basis
• Other duties as assigned
• Must become fluent with the document file system Synergy, outsourced third party insurance website, and Silverlake
