Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Loan Closer to join our HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) team.

Responsibilities

Loan Closer will review loan files for accuracy to prepare figures, balance with title and issue Closing Disclosures to borrowers daily to meet scheduled closing dates. They will run a Mavent Compliance review and draw final closing documents. Current knowledge of TRID and calculating lender cures is necessary. When the loan is final approved, they'll confirm all closing conditions are cleared and coordinate a timely delivery of the closing package to the title company. Balances funding with title and requests wire funds for disbursement of the loan. The Closer will also prepare Post-CDs and make document corrections as required for purchase of the loan. Works monthly deficiency and QC reports. Encompass knowledge is a must and experience closing loans in multiple states including FHA, VA, Conventional and USDA loan programs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years mortgage loan-closing experience required. High degree of attention to detail. Technical knowledge relating to mortgage banking compliance, FHA, VA, Conventional and non-conforming guidelines required. Encompass software experience is required.

Compliance is a critical part of HomeAmerican Mortgage, and a successful candidate will agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the responsibilities of this position.

This is a remote position.
