Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Purchase Agreement File Processing:
    • Process the entire purchase file from initiation to close.
    • Review the title binder and ensure all requirements are met prior to closing.
    • Resolve basic title issues and collaborate with the Supervising Attorney on more complex legal matters.
    • Coordinate with the agent and seller settlement company to gather necessary documents for closing and obtain approval on the final settlement statement.
    • Coordinate receipt of seller documents before closing.
    • Schedule and coordinate the closing with the buyer and selling agent.
    • Export the file and prepare checks for post-closing.
  2. Listing File Processing:
    • Manage the entire seller file from initiation to close.
    • Work with the agent and buyer settlement company to gather documents and finalize the settlement statement.
    • Draft seller documents and the Deed.
    • Coordinate the closing process with the seller.
    • Conduct the closing as needed.
    • Notarize documents.
    • Send documents to the buyer settlement company for closing.
  3. Skills and Attributes:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, collaborate, and a passion for continuous improvement.
    • Strong motivation, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • High interpersonal skill and tact to maintain effective working relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in a real estate closing environment, processing files in a law firm or title company in Virginia or North Carolina.
  • Experience with Qualia is highly desired.
  • Other customer service and retail experience is favorable.
