Job summary

Queenstown Bank is seeking a Customer Service Associate (Bank Teller) who travels to branch locations across the region. You will greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, and help customers with loan payments while delivering friendly, accurate service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, cash handling or customer service experience, and solid computer skills. Travel pay is included; comprehensive benefits are available.

Customer Service Associate (Bank Teller) - Traveling

Operations Full Time Regular Clerical Queenstown, MD, US

Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly

This position is the face of the bank, responsible for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner
• Process customer transactions efficiently, accurately and in compliance with bank policies, including but not limited to deposits and withdrawals, cashing checks and accepting loan payments.
• Build relationships by developing trust and engaging in conversations to understand customers’ financial needs and referring to Customer Service Representatives to recommend appropriate bank products and services
• Educate customers on digital services to deepen their understanding of alternative service opportunities and fraud solutions.
• Work closely with colleagues throughout the bank to achieve branch goals and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Follow all banking regulations, security and operational procedures to protect customers and bank assets.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience):

• High school diploma or (GED) required.
• 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills to include database and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Detail oriented.
• Basic math skills to include the ability to calculate interest and balance accounts.
• Ability to count currency, coin, and negotiable instruments in a timely manner.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Mobility sufficient to perform activities required of position, including travel to branch locations
• Manual dexterity for the functional operation of office equipment, such as computers, calculators, etc.
• Ability to actively engage in necessary communications with internal and external customers.

• The posted pay range for this position reflects a good faith estimate.
• Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, tenure, performance and location.
• Pay range includes a $1.00 per hour stipend for travel.
