Job summary

AgCredit in Kenton, OH is hiring a Loan Accountant to manage loan bookings, data accuracy, and servicing. You will handle cash management, GL accounting, and accounts payable while supporting lending teams and back‑ups across offices.

This full-time role requires a two-year degree in business or ag business (or equivalent experience) and strong attention to detail. Regular hours Mon–Fri, on-site in Kenton.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Business or Ag Business, or a high school graduate with three years of accounting experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge including loan documents and related processes.
• Ability to work independently with diverse team members under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Book loans to the loan system and maintain member and loan data.
• Process daily transactions and loan payoffs; review reports for accuracy.
• Perform post-closing loan verification and servicing functions.
• Manage cash, GL accounting, and accounts payable for the lending office.
• Provide clerical support and greet members; back up other offices as needed.
