Job summary

AgCredit is seeking an Account Officer to serve Ottawa, OH/Napoleon, OH area. You will evaluate farm operations, structure credit, and collaborate with Marketing on strategies to grow member businesses. Travel to client sites and local agri-events is expected as part of relationship building.

The role emphasizes financial analysis, customer service, and cross-functional teamwork to deliver tailored lending solutions for agricultural clients in northwest and central Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance.
• 2-3 years of agricultural lending sales, or marketing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills.
• Familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheets.
• Ability to travel and engage with clients on-site to evaluate their operations.

• Community Engagement: Represent AgCredit at local agriculture events, farm visits, county fairs, industry meetings.

Account Officer, Ottawa, OH/Napole on, OH Area

The Account Officer combines their agricultural and business knowledge with an in-depth understanding of each customer’s farm operation’s financial position in order to provide innovative solutions to support and grow the customer’s ongoing farm operation. Be a specialist in evaluating financial status and credit worthiness of borrowers while performing credit and lending activities within the limits of delegated authority. Works with Marketing to develop sales and marketing strategies and member programs to grow and develop new and existing business. Compiles reports as assigned by supervisor. Attends and participates in local agri-business activities.
