Job summary

Intrepid Potash, Inc. is seeking a Loadout Operator in Moab, UT. You will operate front-end loaders, forklifts, conveyors, and related systems to load railcars and trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role involves inspecting equipment, recording details, collecting samples, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow written and verbal instructions, and complete accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Basic computer proficiency with common software tools.
• Ability to work safely at heights, lift up to 50 pounds, and use safety equipment.
• Preferred: at least one year of general labor or industrial plant experience including forklift/front-end loader.

Responsibilities

• Operate loadout equipment safely and monitor operation during shifts.
• Inspect equipment, complete required reports, and communicate safety hazards.
• Prepare and clean railcars and trucks before and after loading to prevent contamination.
• Load railcars and trucks, unload as needed, and verify load numbers and weights.
• Monitor product quality and collect daily samples for lab testing.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on loadout equipment.
• Coordinate with drivers and team members, following safety policies and procedures.
