Job summary

Alpine Silica in Kermit, TX is seeking a Loadout Operator to support our sand and aggregate operations. You will perform pre-shift inspections, operate skid steer equipment, and unload trucks while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. The position involves communicating across teams, recording precise truck data, and assisting QC with sand testing and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous truck loading experience preferred.
• Experience operating skid steer, forklift, or similar equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail and clear communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift inspections and workplace exams daily.
• Load trucks to specified weight using a computer loading program.
• Inspect trucks from above and identify contamination.
• Record truck/trailer information on tickets accurately.
• Complete scale tickets with correct information.
• Maintain housekeeping of loadout, conveyors, and silos.
• Operate machinery safely and productively.
• Unload pneumatic and belly-dump trucks.
• Assist QC with sand testing and documentation as needed.
• Report shift activities and tons pulled on reports.
• Perform general preventive maintenance on loadout equipment.
• Assist shift mechanic with repairs when needed.
• Support truck drivers with data entry.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
