Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Load Out Operator to load outbound trucks with finished product using PLC touchscreens and to ensure a steady flow of material for processing.

The role involves loading meat and bone meal, grease, and performing cleaning and safety duties while adhering to company specifications and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to drive a truck with standard transmission.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.
• Loads meat and bone meal, and grease onto tankers.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas with a high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Load Out Operator uses PLC computer touchscreens for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for loading both meat and bone meal, and loading grease onto tankers
  Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
• All other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional CDL preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
• Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
