Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Finished Goods Loader responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of finished products from tankers, railcars, meal trucks, and trailers.

The role includes obtaining samples for lab analysis, completing paperwork, weighing trucks, and maintaining safety through adherence to company rules. Night and weekend availability may be required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Able to operate non-CLD industrial vehicles/equipment (backhoe, telehandler, yard dog truck, etc.)
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of all finished products on tankers, railcars, meal trucks, trailers, etc.
• Obtains proper samples and sends to lab for analysis in addition to maintaining proper paperwork.
• Weigh trucks after loading, complete documentation, and turn into scale/dispatcher
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Maintains safety in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in loader operation and maintenance.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable
• Applicant availability for either shift preferred.
