Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Lexington, TN is seeking a production associate responsible for safe operation of line equipment and meeting productivity and quality targets. You will read orders, inspect equipment, and document materials produced, while collaborating with team members and supervisors.

The role requires standing 8–12 hours daily, potential overtime, and training for Crane/ forklift. Eligible candidates gain access to a full benefits package with long-term growth opportunities.

• Understands and competent in safe and efficient operation of line equipment
• Includes all line equipment, processes, and procedures
• Detail and quality oriented
• Verifiable dependability and energetic
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Email, Internet, Excel, Word)
• Requires experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Able to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
• Forklift and Crane a plus – must be trainable
• Flexible with overtime and weekends when needed

Responsibilities

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $18.25 per hour

Quarterly Gainsharing Bonus Program

Hours: 6:30am - 4:30pm, Overtime is expected.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support company Core Values, participate in Safe Work environment, and completes observations
• Inspect equipment for safety
• Read and understand a production order
• Meet company productivity requirements
• Meet company and customer quality requirements
• Use crane, and manual handling of materials, complete proper documentation for materials produced
• Good communication with Team, Supervisor, and Management
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III
• Standing and walking 8 to 12 hours everyday
• Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders
• Varying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)
