Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in New Orleans seeks a Loading Dock Captain to coordinate resident move‑ins/outs, vendor access, and loading dock operations, working with Security, Purchasing, Engineering, and Residential Operations to deliver an exceptional resident experience. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience in hospitality or property/logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential operations, hospitality, property management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident move-ins/outs and unit projects, manage schedules, docs, vendor access, elevator reservations, and compliance.
• Assist residents with activation and troubleshooting of home services (internet, telephone, cable, utilities).
• Monitor loading dock communications and respond to inquiries from residents, vendors, contractors, and operations.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor activities, including insurance, dock access, and unit entry documentation.
• Conduct site walks, pre-move assessments, and inspections of elevators and common areas for protection and damages.
• Manage inbound/outbound package and furniture activity, including receipt, tracking, storage, and delivery per resident preferences.
• Maintain accurate records for residents, vendors, contractors, move-related activities, approvals, and compliance.
• Maintain loading dock logs, checklists, and storage areas; ensure safety and efficiency.
