Job summary

Comstock seeks a diligent Loading Dock Attendant to oversee the smooth flow of residential moves and protect property during deliveries. You will coordinate truck arrivals, supervise on-site movers, and ensure doors and floors are safeguarded during transfers.

Responsibilities include garage inspections, vendor-managed cleaning, incident reporting, and timely maintenance tickets. This role supports the property manager and engineering & operations teams with various duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience or interest in property management is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to others' needs promptly and courteously.
• Must have integrity, accountability, and strive for excellence.
• Positive, can-do attitude with growth mindset and customer focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication, listening, and organizational skills.
• Able to work well in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the arrival and departure of moving trucks.
• Schedule and monitor on-site movers for residential moves.
• Protect doors and floors during deliveries and moves.
• Coordinate pickups and bulk material removal from loading dock and trash room areas.
• Report incidents to the property manager as needed.
• Perform daily residential garage inspections and provide reports.
• Manage routine cleaning schedules by vendor.
• Submit maintenance tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Check FOB security daily to ensure restricted access.
• Assist with tasks by the property manager and engineering & operations team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
