IST Management is seeking a detail‑oriented asset coordinator to manage daily loading dock activities and asset records at our McLean, VA facility. You will receive, inspect, document, and route packages and equipment while maintaining accurate records and nearby inventories.

The role requires 2–4 years in related fields, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds. Training and growth toward supervisory roles are available in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in receiving, logistics, facilities operations, inventory control, asset management, or related field.
• Experience with computerized asset/inventory/property management systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily loading dock activities, including deliveries, shipments, and courier services.
• Receive, inspect, document, and route packages, equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Maintain receiving records and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Coordinate movement of large equipment and materials; maintain organized, safe loading dock and receiving area.
• Record newly received client assets within designated asset and property management systems.
• Assign or verify asset identification numbers, property tags, serial numbers, locations, departments, and responsible parties.
• Perform periodic physical inventories and reconcile physical assets against system records.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving missing, incorrectly assigned, or improperly documented assets.
• Assist with reconciling asset purchases and received property against client accounts receivable and applicable financial records.
