Job summary

Amentum seeks an experienced logistics professional for a DoW-focused role in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities include asset management, inventory control, and end-to-end supply chain oversight, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

The position requires active clearance and DoD forms familiarity, and offers on-site support in a mission-focused environment. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in DoW logistics, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and asset-tracking

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• 2+ years in DoW Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/SharePoint).
• Experience using asset tracking software/databases.
• Familiarity with DoD forms (DD250, DD1149, DD1150, DD1348).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy and accountability.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment (occasional).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Asset Manager for designated assets and manage the asset program.
• Maintain an Accountable Property System of Record and asset database.
• Oversee regular physical inventories to maintain 100% accountability.
• Develop and monitor reports for productivity and SLAs in inventory/logistics.
• Perform quality control, repair part management, and property management.
• Oversee supply chain from procurement to delivery to disposal; optimize costs.
• Maintain inventory and issue/receive equipment to end users.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to fulfill orders.
• Consolidate procurement activities: PRs, POs, cost comparisons, and required documentation.
