Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is looking for a Loader/Unloader to join our Richmond, VA team. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role essential to keeping healthcare facilities operating safely.

The job involves lifting heavy containers, loading trucks, weighbridge checks, and accurate paperwork. The ideal candidate has experience in labor-intensive environments, a strong work ethic, and can work well with others on a fixed Monday–Friday schedule with a 2nd shift from 11:30am to 8pm.

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or warehouse environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting throughout the day.

• Dependable, punctual and able to work quickly without cutting corners.
• Team-oriented and reliable for consistent daily attendance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks daily, handling regulated medical waste and sharps containers.
• Repeatedly lift 50–75 lb containers throughout the shift.
• Push and maneuver four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Weigh incoming waste using a weighbridge system.
• Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for transport.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with teammates to ensure transports are ready on schedule.

What will your job involve?
