Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking candidates for a crate fabrication and packaging role in York, PA. You will fabricate wooden crates, load windows and accessories, and ensure packaging safety for shipment.

You will also help with loading trailers and prepare shipping documents, with additional duties as assigned. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a readiness to wear PPE as required.

What you get to do

• Responsible for fabrication of wooden crates to ship, job clean ups, small jobs parts and orders
• Loads windows and accessories
• Ensure that product is packaged safely within the crate to minimize possibility of damage
• Ensure all shipping documents are completed and accurate
• Assist in loading trailers when crating duties are complete
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills under time constraints
• Effective communication skills with peers and management
• Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Previous manufacturing experience
