Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Waxahachie, Texas is hiring a Material Handler 2 to join our production team. This role starts a career path with opportunities to grow as you gain experience in a large, multi-site organization.

You will be trained to read paperwork, measure materials with a tape, attach labels, and rotate through various production areas. PIT equipment operation is required as part of daily duties, with teamwork at the core of success.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Must read and interpret basic measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must attach appropriate labels to material while correctly counting and identifying material.
• Can perform in multiple areas of the department or other departments.

Responsibilities

• On/off-load of product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Work as part of a team
• Perform different functions on a rotating basis that are considered essential function of your job
• Be available to work in all areas of production
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor
• Will need to operate PIT equipment
