Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a Material Handler 2 for the 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). You will move metal products, inspect quality, and support the Fabrication department to meet production goals.

You should have a safety-first mindset, reliable work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to read paperwork and use a tape measure. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Material Handler 2is focused on moving metal products from tables, facility, delivery trucks, or wood cratesand reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working weekends as necessary.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred.
