Job summary

SURGE Staffing in the United States is seeking a reliable Loader/Unloader to support our distribution operations, involving continuous standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the workday.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers by hand, moving cartons, labeling outbound shipments, receiving truckloads, keeping the area clean, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with continuous standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers by hand using gravity rollers.
• Move cartons on and off pallets for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Label cartons for outbound shipments (approximately 5,000-6,000 packages per week).
• Receive and unload incoming truckloads, including palletized and floor-loaded freight.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient.
• Follow safe material-handling practices and company procedures.
