Responsible for the upkeep of Crystal Mountain Resort parking areas and roads with close attention to detail. This position needs to be able to properly assess road conditions and make appropriate maintenance decisions based on current weather conditions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and smell. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects tools or controls. Must be capable of frequent wrist, elbow and twisting and pulling movements. Must be capable of occasionally lifting and pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs., and frequently lifting, pushing, or pulling, and carrying up to 40lbs. Must be capable of climbing movements, walking on uneven terrain, and walking on snow and ice, and operating snow vehicles. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
Indoor / Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places. Hazardous Materials / Noise: Employee will often be in contact with hazardous substances. They will occasionally be exposed to extreme hot/cold and wet conditions, noise, fumes or airborne particles, and the risk of electric shock. The noise level in the workplace is usually loud. Equipment Used in Job: Various Variable schedule including on-call, after business hours, and weekends.
