Job summary

Zachry Underground & Utility Services, a division of Zachry Construction Corporation, is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate a large wheeled loader in excavation support for water and sewer main projects. Pay is hourly and depends on experience.

You will load, unload, and transport materials, recognize hazards, and communicate with crew while adhering to all safety rules. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of loader experience on water/sewer construction projects.
• Ability to load bedding material into open-cut trenches.
• Reliability and safe operation on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader equipment safely under supervisor direction.
• Load, unload, and transport materials with loader bucket or forks.
• Transport and backfill bedding material into trenches.
• Identify hazards and report to supervisor.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with crew using hand signals while operating equipment.
• Work days, nights, and weekends as required.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
• Perform other labor-related duties as assigned.
