Job summary

Standard Materials Group, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team in Springdale, Arkansas. You will safely operate loaders to move materials, load trucks, and support batch plants while coordinating with teammates to meet project timelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Applicants should be comfortable outdoors in varying weather and willing to work nights,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment in construction.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds unassisted.
• Flexible to work outdoors in varying weather and hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate rubber-tired or crawler-type loaders equipped with scoop-type buckets to excavate, move, and load materials.
• Load trucks, manage material from stockpiles, and charge batch plants, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials to support project needs.
• Maintain constant communication and visual contact with team members to ensure safety, especially when maneuvering equipment in tight spaces.
• Perform daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, documenting findings as required by company standards.
• Conduct routine servicing and minor maintenance; escalate significant repairs to the Foreman.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, OSHA, and MSHA safety regulations.
• Support and mentor less-experienced team members in equipment operation and safety practices.
• Assist with general labor duties as needed to ensure project success.
