Job summary

PF Holdings in Louisiana is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a plant environment. You will perform daily maintenance and follow supervisor directions to load bulk material efficiently.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a Class C Driver License, and ideally 2 years of Loader experience. You should read, write and speak English and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possess Class C Driver License.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working operating a Loader is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.
• Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.
• Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.
• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.
• Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.
