Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Loader Operator at our Bladensburg, MD location to safely operate heavy equipment and load stockpiles of rock and aggregate materials. You will inspect equipment daily, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with truck drivers and site supervisors.

We require 3+ years of loader experience in construction or quarry settings. This role is on-site, with the team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and safe material handling in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on front-end loader experience in quarry, aggregate, mining, or heavy construction.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and load trucks and conveyors efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to load, transport, and stockpile aggregate materials.
• Load trucks, feeders, hoppers, and conveyors with sand, gravel, stone, and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues before operation.
• Maintain proper stockpile locations, material separation, and safe working areas.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, plant operators, and site supervisors.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
