Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator II (Loader Operator) to transport materials throughout the quarry, loading into piles, trucks or crushers as production requires. This role covers front end loaders and related equipment in varying weather conditions.

The ideal candidate will have high school level education, reading/writing ability, and prior quarry experience. The position involves shift work with overtime and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Additional Education Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements. Quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders (e.g., 993s, 992s, 988s, 980s).
• Operate other quarry equipment as required (haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, grader).
• Inspect equipment each shift and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or report to supervisor if corrective actions fail.
• Assist with site cleanup for safety and efficiency.
• Take accurate counts of material additions as required.
• Coordinate with quality personnel on material blends as needed.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
