Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator II (Loader Operator) in Convent, LA to transport materials across the quarry, feed crushers and piles, and support production. The role requires operating multiple loaders and other heavy equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliable performance.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be prepared for shift work, overtime, and outdoor conditions typical of quarry operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Quarry or construction site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment per production needs.
• Inspect equipment at each shift and report issues.
• Maintain safety, quality and production standards on site.
• Communicate hazards, maintenance and production needs to supervisors.
• Assist with material counts and plant flow as required.
• Work overtime, weekends or holidays as scheduled.
