Job summary

RB Global in Lorain, Ohio is seeking a Loader Operator I to operate heavy equipment and trucks, set up equipment for auctions in yards, and assist customers during and after auctions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability; candidates should have experience with heavy machinery, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with customers and co‑workers to keep operations smooth and efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Track record of working safely and promoting safety with others.
• Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Organized with the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
• Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
• Assist customers with loading equipment purchases and answer related questions.
• Support RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety and promote safe practices.
• Learn and assist with vehicle check-in tasks as needed.
• Support Yard Staff responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
