Job summary

Ritchie Bros. is seeking a Loader Operator I to join our Yard Operations team. You will operate heavy equipment and trucks, assist with setting up for auctions, and help customers during and after auctions.

Ideal candidates have experience with heavy machinery, strong safety awareness, and good English communication. You will work in a fast-paced yard environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to relate well with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and trucks in yard operations.
• Assist with setting up equipment for auctions and move items as needed.
• Help customers load purchases and answer questions related to yard operations.
• Support safety initiatives to ensure everyone returns home safely.
• Assist with vehicle check-in tasks and other yard duties as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as required by yard operations.
