Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Loader Operator for Robinson Stave to support daily log yard, stave yard, and dry kiln operations. This hands-on role involves operating wheel loaders and other equipment to move logs and by-products, while coordinating with the Log Procurement Manager to maintain production flow.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is 18+ years old, and has experience in manufacturing or outdoor work.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or outdoor work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work safely in a physically demanding environment.
Two+ years of wheel loader or heavy equipment experience (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

Operate wheel loaders and other equipment to load and unload log trucks, dry kilns, and by-products.
Support log yard and stave yard operations, including feeding the stave mill and pulling log tags.
Assist with inventory handling, environmental cleanup activities, and general yard maintenance.
Partner with log buyers, kiln personnel, and operations teams to support production needs.
Maintain safe work practices and contribute to an organized, efficient work environment.
