Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Massachusetts. The role involves operating heavy equipment, dismantling vehicles, and maintaining yard operations.

You will use scan guns and tablets to update inventory, perform inspections, and communicate with management to keep operations on track. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of heavy equipment experience, an automotive background, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in heavy equipment operations.
• Must have heavy equipment operations experience and some automotive background.
• Must possess basic technology competence (scan gun, tablet/phone applications).
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is safe for work.
• Operate equipment safely and courteously in work areas with pedestrians and other vehicle traffic. Equipment may include wheel loader, car crusher, forklift, etc.
• Check fluids daily and report findings to management.
• Prioritize and plan workload to prevent delays to operations.
• Use equipment to unload, dismantle, and stage vehicles and parts.
• Maintain yard and grounds, assist with safety and regulatory compliance.
