Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Yard Loader Operator for Tahlequah, OK. You will safely operate heavy equipment across quarry and construction tasks while adhering to OSHA/MSHA regulations and company policies.

The role requires 1-3 years of relevant experience or training, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to travel as needed. Training is provided and there are opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of diverse sizes and weights across quarry and construction tasks.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Promptly report any equipment or operational issues to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
• Execute daily tasks as directed by the Foreman, meeting project or jobsite expectations.
• Perform routine servicing and minor maintenance on equipment; elevate major issues to supervisors as necessary.
• Complete thorough pre- and post-operation inspections with proper documentation, maintaining compliance with company protocols.
• Assist in mentoring and training less-experienced team members in equipment operation, servicing, and repair to enhance team capabilities.
• Take on general labor duties as required to support overall operations.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and promptness at assigned work times.
• Fulfill additional duties assigned to meet evolving operational needs.
