Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking an Operator - Loader to operate heavy equipment at our asphalt plant in Bellingham, MA. The role requires at least 1+ year of backhoe/mini excavator operation and 2+ years operating a loader, with a preference for reading underground facility sketches.

You will perform mid-level labor tasks, inspect equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and project standards while coordinating with supervision and teams.

Qualifications

• One (1)+ years of experience in backhoe/mini excavator operation.
• Two (2)+ years of demonstrated experience in operating a loader.
• Experience reading basic prints and Underground Facility Location Sketch is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment at the asphalt plant in Bellingham.
• Uses control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines.
• Inspects equipment and identifies defects or errors.
• Communicates abnormal working conditions to appropriate parties and follows regulations.
