Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure, an integrated engineering and construction company, is seeking an Operator - Loader for our asphalt plant in Bellingham, MA. You will operate heavy equipment, read basic prints, and help install and maintain utility infrastructure while following safety standards.

This non-exempt role pays $30.00–$35.00 per hour and requires a valid driver's license, a clean MVR, and successful drug screening. Prior loader and backhoe experience is essential.

Qualifications

• One (1)+ year of backhoe/mini excavator operation experience.
• Two (2)+ years of loader operation experience.
• Ability to read basic prints and Underground Facility Location Sketch is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (backhoes, loaders) at the asphalt plant in Bellingham.
• Inspects equipment and reports defects or safety issues.
• Read maps and prints to locate underground utilities; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Set up traffic control and perform mid-level labor tasks.
• Maintain safety and complete required paperwork daily.
