Job summary

Copart, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to move and load vehicles using a front-end loader or forklift, while maintaining movement documentation and performing daily inspections. You will help provide a safe, customer-focused Copart experience and set up yards for auctions within timelines.

Ideal candidates have 1 year loader/forklift experience, HS diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• At least two years of outdoor work experience.
• One year loader or forklift experience, certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Must multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and load vehicles with a front-end loader or forklift.
• Maintain documentation of vehicle movement around the facility.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and document the machine.
• Keep a safe work environment and follow company guidelines for loader operation.
• Assist customers and meet their needs to support the Copart experience.
• Set up yard for auctions within company timelines.
• Provide service to customers as needed and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Record vehicle information accurately and legibly.
• Operate digital camera or tracking devices for vehicle documentation.
• Load and unload vehicles as required and pass training safety requirements.
