Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring a Loader Operator to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment at our Georgia plant. You will move sand, gravel, and cement, load trucks and conveyors, and collaborate with the production team to keep operations on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience running loaders is preferred; training will be provided.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Safety-focused mindset and willingness to speak up if something is not right.
• Ability to check equipment and perform basic fixes.
• Team player with good communication and reliability.
• Physically able to move and work in various weather conditions.
• Pre-employment screenings are required.
• Adheres to SRM 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, Go-Getter.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors to ensure material flow.
• Collaborate with crew and production to maintain schedule.
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety.
• Assist with inventory checks to avoid material shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand as needed to support teammates.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of powerful front‑end loaders and other heavy equipment to move sand, gravel, and cement around the plant—keeping our concrete flowing and our operations moving.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors so our team always has the materials they need.
• Work side‑by‑side with your crew and production team to keep things running on schedule.
• Check your equipment before and after each shift, and let the team know if something needs fixing—your safety and theirs comes first.
• Follow all safety rules, wear your gear, and help keep the plant a safe place for everyone.
• Pitch in to keep your work area clean and organized—because a tidy site is a safer site.
• Help count inventory and make sure we never run low on the materials that keep us going.
• Share your ideas with plant leaders and help us get better every day.
• Be ready to lend a hand wherever you’re needed—whether it’s helping a teammate or jumping in on a tough job.

What Sets You Apart

• Experience running loaders or other big machines is great, but if you’re willing to learn and work hard, we’ll train you.
• Valid Driver’s License.
