Job summary

Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. currently seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator – Loader for our Newnan and College Park asphalt plants.

This full-time role primarily resides at the Newnan plant but may be deployed to other Greater Atlanta sites as needed, including weekend work and night shifts. The Operator will safely operate a front-end loader to move materials for asphalt production and aggregates, perform basic maintenances, and support yard operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in environments such as construction sites, quarries, asphalt plants, or aggregate yards.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently to move materials.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and report issues promptly.
• Assist with plant operations and material handling as needed.
• Coordinate material flow with plant personnel to maintain production schedules.
