Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator – Loader for our Douglasville, GA asphalt plant. This full-time role supports other plants in the Greater Atlanta area as needed, with day/night shifts and weekend work required.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a front-end loader, pre-op inspections, basic maintenance, and coordination with plant personnel to maintain production schedules. Strong safety adherence and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment (loader) on construction sites, quarries, asphalt plants, or similar environments.
• Ability to work safely around trucks, stockpiles, and moving equipment.
• Must be able to follow safety protocols and site procedures.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsabilités

• Operate a front-end loader safely to move materials at the plant yard or job sites.
• Work safely around haul trucks, stockpiles, and uneven terrain.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report mechanical issues.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on the loader.
• Detect safety hazards and respond appropriately.
• Assist with plant operations including material handling and cleanup.
• Coordinate material flow with plant personnel to maintain production schedules.
• Follow directions.
