Overview

Location: La Grange, TX

Seeking an individual to perform various duties at an aggregate plant facility including equipment operation, welding, and other plant-related tasks. Must be dedicated, willing to learn, and interested in building a career while maintaining high safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to support daily plant production and operations
• Assist plant supervisor with operations and maintenance
• Inspect plant areas for maintenance needs such as belt repairs and bearing replacements
• Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed
• Identify safety hazards and equipment malfunctions
• Follow safety procedures according to MSHA and OSHA standards
• Work evenings and weekends as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

• Operate large aggregate machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
• Knowledge of welding and mechanics preferred
• Adaptability to project and safety requirements
• Understanding of MSHA regulations
• High school diploma or GED
