Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Following best practices for bagging with various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts during checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks.
• Reinforcing safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
• Following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
