Job summary

Nosco, Inc. in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Loader Operator to handle loading lightweight printed sheets on a high-speed folding machine and to meet production rates.

You will operate equipment, cross-train in the Bindery, and perform basic maintenance while adhering to quality procedures and on-time delivery expectations.

Qualifications

  • Preferably +2 years of Bindery (literature folder gluer) or other technical skills operating machinery.
  • Experience with basic Quality systems and documentation.
  • Flexibility to work any shift and Overtime.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Long periods of concentration.
  • Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor preventive maintenance/repairs, report any mechanical defects to Operator, Manager and Team Lead, and keep machinery in good working condition.

Job description

Nosco is looking for a Loader Operator at our Gurnee, IL Facility. This role is on our 12 hour rotating shift schedule.

As an employee owner in this position you will be able to effectively catch, inspect, and load lightweight printed sheets of paper on a high speed folding machine. While you demonstrate the ability to operate equipment at established rates of speed.

In this role, you will…
