Job summary

Nosco is seeking an Inspection Operator for the second and third shifts at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility. You will operate a rewinder/inspection asset to produce printed roll labels that meet delivery and quality standards, and you will package all products per customer documentation.

You will monitor production, troubleshoot equipment, and help minimize remakes while following SOPs. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and maintaining high productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have good interpersonal skills to communicate with all production staff.
• Must have a good mechanical background.
• Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year.
• Physical requirements include twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality; complete documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems related to equipment and setup; perform testing and corrective actions.
• Assist in minimizing remakes by identifying problems early.
• Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks per SOP and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a high rate of productivity; meet setup and run speed targets.

About this job…

Nosco is looking for an Inspection Operator on second and third shift at our Pleasant Prairie, WI Facility.

As an employee owner in this position, operate a rewinder/inspection asset to perform the final step of digital label production. In this role you will produce printed roll labels to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will also package all products and supplies per customer required documentation.

In this role, you will…

• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality. Complete all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing).
• Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.
