JOB SUMMARY

The Loader Operator is responsible for operating the front-end loader, a vehicle equipped with a hydraulic bucket or scoop used to lift and transport bulk materials efficiently while following all safety policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures.
2. Operate the front-end loader safely and effectively, adhering to all safety and company policies.
3. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the loader; report issues immediately.
4. Load trucks with debris and sand, and push sand to keep piles organized.
5. Load sand into truck hoppers as needed.
6. Clean slurry pumps as scheduled.
7. Refill sealer and plasticizer tanks; report leaks and keep the area clean.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Collect data and complete paperwork as required.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
11. Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player with high work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to obtain front-end loader and forklift licenses.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant training/certification.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS:

• Operation of front-end loader, forklift, mixers, pumps, and dust collection systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Ability to work around noise, temperature extremes, and in various environmental conditions.
• Prolonged standing, repetitive movements, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Use of personal protective equipment.
