Job Description

The Loader Operator will contribute to the production team to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently while conforming to company policies. Responsibilities include processing vehicles safely to produce core & scrap products, enabling customer parts retrieval, and satisfying environmental requirements. This position primarily focuses on Front Loader operation and various material handling duties.

Responsibilities

1. Operation of heavy equipment: Use Front Loader, Crusher, Fork Lift, or Skid Steer to move vehicles, cores, scrap, and other materials safely. Ensure loads are secure and use attachments for dismantling and segregation.
2. Maintenance of equipment: Perform pre-operation checks and inspections as prescribed in the certification course.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Background in automotive repair or dismantling.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and retail customer service.
• Proficiency with tools and machinery.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish.

Physical Activities

• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and stretching outdoors for extended periods.
• Sitting for 6-8 hours in intervals.
• Handling tools and moving up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills for safe equipment operation.
• Visual and hearing abilities adequate for safety and task performance.

Job Conditions

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
