Job summary

Airgas in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Loader to safely operate equipment for handling and producing packaged gas cylinders, including high pressure and cryogenic vessels. You will load/unload cylinders, read labels, and maintain safety checks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, filling or loading is a plus.
• Familiarity with gas, welding, and safety supply industries is valued.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and products onto/off route trucks and trailers using proper carts.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and inspect for proper labeling.
• Operate forklift for movement of cylinders on pallets and perform basic cylinder maintenance.
• Read cylinder labels and color-coding; ensure accurate labeling and safety checks.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FDA, OSHA and Airgas standards during handling and paperwork.
